About Us

 

Our Fitness studio offers a variety of options to get fit and stay fit! Fit Studio provides a more personal fitness experience to meet your health and fitness goals.


Kim

Kim is the owner of Fit Studio. Her interest in health and wellness came about three years ago when she was introduced to Advocare nutritional products. Kim's passion is to help others use Advocare products with proper nutrition and exercise to help them get fit.

Amy

Amy graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.  She has a passion to be creative in several areas of life- including fitness!  Her introduction to Yoga took place when she took a Yoga class at SMSU. The combination of rigorous exercise and relaxation it offered attracted her and since then she has been exploring Yoga on her own, discovering and enjoying it’s many benefits.  Now, teaching a Yoga class at Fit Studio, she is excited to share with students of all levels of fitness how it can both promote and challenge one’s strength, flexibility, and overall balance- all while releasing stress and increasing one’s sense of calm!

Shanda

Shanda Kirkeide is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science. She is a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, the most highly accredited organization for fitness professionals. She has presented two pieces of research on Nutrition in Primary Care and Worksite Satisfaction and Stress at two national conferences. Her specialties include exercise prescription,  weight management, and nutrition in exercise. She enjoys teaching kickboxing, playing beach volleyball, and helping people achieve healthy lifestyles.

 


 

Melissa

BA Degree in Psychology, BS degree in Exercise Science, MS degree in Counseling. Certified Personal Trainer from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Certified in Kettlebell Training. Incorporate Advocare nutrition and exercise to help others reach their fitness goals and lead a healthy active lifestyle.

 

 

 

 

Tracey

When Zumba was first introduced to the Marshall Community, Tracey got involved right away. She has been attending classes regularly for several years and in the last year became a Zumba Certified Instructor. She is a ZIN member which allows her to keep classes updated and true to the Zumba formula. She is passionate about helping others find a new move to get or stay fit. Check out the latest craze and try a Zumba class!
